About the Conference

Spirit Horse Statue

Texas philanthropy is defined by commitment, generosity, and a deep sense of responsibility to community.

Hosted by the faculty and students in Texas’ 1st – and only – BA in Philanthropy degree, the UTA Philanthropy Conference brings together nonprofit professionals, funders, scholars, and changemakers from across the state for a one-day gathering focused on the values and practices that shape philanthropy in Texas—and beyond.

At Leading with Heart: The Lone Star Way, participants will engage with thoughtful ideas, research-informed insights, and practical perspectives designed to strengthen organizations and expand impact.

Throughout the day, we’ll highlight the people and practices that sustain communities across Texas.

We invite you to join us at UTA for a conference that reflects the spirit of Texas philanthropy.
